Our Colombian Supremo coffee comes from the high altitude Cauco region of Colombia and is known as Colombian Supremo Popayan, named after the capital city of the Cauco region. Our Colombian coffee is grown at altitudes of 4500 to 6000 feet above sea level. This coffee region produces some of the finest arabica coffees available with its rich soil and rainy climate coupled with the high altitude.
Colombia is the second largest coffee producer in the world, just behind Brazil. Colombia offers some of the world's finest arabica coffee beans as well as some of the most mediocre coffees. All Colombian coffee is arabica coffee, but there are different degrees of quality among the Colombian coffee beans.
