Brazil retains its position as the largest coffee producer in the world. While quality can vary from inexpensive coffee beans that are typically used for grocery store, canned coffee, Brazil also produces fine quality arabica coffee such as our dark roast Brazilian Santos. Since Brazil coffee is grown at lower altitudes, the coffee contains less acidity. This provides a very smooth taste. Our dark roast Brazilian Santos coffee is grown on smaller coffee plantations and estates that produce a high quality coffee bean. Most of the lower quality, mass-produced coffee used in grocery store coffee is produced by larger farms and is harvested by machinery rather than coffee beans picked by hand.
