Most everyone has noticed that coffee prices have increased during the past year.  Our coffee costs have increased by 40% to 60% on our coffee during this past year and we've absorbed most of the cost to try and keep our retail pricing affordable.  Every coffee retailer is dealing with these problems, whether they are a major world-wide coffee chain or a small retailer like ourselves.

There are several reasons why prices have increased.  Much of the coffee producing regions have undergone difficult weather conditions including flooding and poor crop production.  Along with this, third world countries have driven up demand because more people in these developing countries are moving from the cheaper robusta ......

Cool off with Iced Coffee.  Here are easy steps to make iced coffee with your favorite gourmet coffee or flavored coffee.

1.  Brew your favorite coffee in a standard auto drip coffee maker, using your regular amount of coffee but only 1/2 the amount of water you normally use.  Brew your coffee.

2.  If you would like your coffee sweetened, now is the time to add sugar or artificial sweeteners, while the coffee is still hot.  Add your sweetener just after the brew cycle finishes and stir until well mixed.  Sweeteners don't mix well when adding with cold coffee.

3.  Allow the coffee to cool to room temperature then pour directly over ice into a pitcher.  Use the same amount .........
