 Our current featured gourmet coffee is our Costa Rican Tarrazu coffee.  Costa Rica produces some of the finest premium coffees in the world.  Our coffee comes from the Cariblanco Estate in the famous Tarrazu region of Costa Rica.  The Tarrazu region is made up of small coffee farms and plantations that grow coffee at a very high altitude.  Tarrazu is the best growing region in Costa Rica, prized for its rich soil that produces such a bright, intense coffee flavor.

The rich soil along with the very high altitude produce a moderately high acidity level in this coffee.  This acidity level offers the intense citrus flavor notes with a complex taste.  This coffee is not a smooth flavor as with coffees grown in South America.  This complex taste produces a bright citrus flavor, which is distinct with Tarrazu grown coffee beans.  Our Costa Rican coffee beans are roasted to a medium-dark roast level, which brings out the best flavor this bean has to offer.  If you've never tried a Costa Rican coffee, you owe it to yourself to give this fine coffee a try.  We offer our Costa Rican Tarrazu in 1 lb. bags with your choice of whole coffee beans or ground to your personal coffee grind preference.  We also offer this coffee in 5 lb. bags of whole coffee beans.
